Buying Cheap Golf Clubs

Whether you're just starting out playing golf or you don't want to break the bank to buy a whole new set of clubs, cheap golf clubs can provide an accessible and good quality way to play the game of golf. One of the great ways to save money when buying golf clubs is to buy a full set of clubs that you need. Typically, sets may include just irons or just woods or fairway irons. They may include a putter and you can also buy full sets that include all of these as well as a golf bag and even a trolley to lug it around for you.
Do Your Research

Always try to do some research before you buy cheap golf clubs. This is especially true if you are buying second hand clubs or second hand sets. This can provide a beneficial way of locating cheap golf clubs but it is a minefield that is fraught with poor quality or broken clubs. Unless you know exactly what you are looking for and you know the telltale signs of club damage, some of which is not visible to the eye, then you may be best avoiding second hand sets.

Consider Sets

Also, if you need a full set that consists of every club in your bag then consider a full set but look at the price of iron sets and fairway iron sets too. Add in the cost of a putter and anything else that you need and determine whether you can buy the same quality of clubs for less when you buy them in individual sets rather than one large set. Sometimes, with the various offers that are on cheap golf clubs, you may find it less expensive to buy a number of sets.

Cheap Golf Clubs

Golf is sometimes talked about as being an expensive sport and while it's true that pro golfers and those that play regularly and seriously may spend a lot of money on a single club this doesn't mean that big spenders are the only ones to get enjoyment out of the game. Cheap golf clubs can give you a great introduction to the sport, still offer good quality golfing, and allow you to take up a healthy sport without breaking the bank.

Frequently Asked Questions...

Does anyone have opinions on a decent budget consciousness rangefinder for bow hunting?

I am considering the Burton Echo and the Bushnell Sport 450. I will be using the unit for primarily bow hunting but it would be nice to be able to accurately range for black powder and rifle as well. I have read the customer reviews on the Bass Pro website but wanted to get some more opinions. Thanks.

Answer:

I don't like the use of a range finder for bow hunting unless you are a world class bow shot and are hunting in the western part of the country where longer shots are the norm. If neither one applies to you it is a waste of money and effort to use it strictly for bow hunting. The average distance a deer is killed by a bow hunter is 19 yards. I have a self imposed limit of 35 yards for a bow shot.No need for a range finder at that distance. But The Bushnell would be the one I would get other then the Burton Echo, mainly because I know nothing about the Echo.
