The goal of Callaway's X-Collection irons has always been lofty: to set the efficiency usual for the industry. Enter the Callaway X20 Irons NG stainless-steel iron set, which options new grooves that comply with the "stipulations of competition" for the 2010 PGA Tour. Consequently, the irons maximize playability with each swing. The Callaway X20 NG is made using particular middle technologies that create a lower heart of gravity than most other iron brands. The applied sciences start with Extreme Notch Weighting, which redistributes the weight to the low, rearward space of the toe and heel, creating a prime moment of inertia (MOI). This improves your distance and accuracy on mis-hits at the heel and toe, making it more uncomplicated to means the green. The clubs also make the most of Variable Face Thickness (VFT) generation, which allows Callaway engineers to decrease the center of gravity to produce an maximum trajectory with each and every iron in the set, giving lengthy irons a better release attitude and brief irons and wedges a greater trajectory height. Add in a 180-Degree Undercut Channel--which maximizes perimeter weighting via moving the middle of gravity even lower and farther again--and you have got a club with a big candy spot that hits the ball a long way and straight even on tough swings.
Virtually instant development, September 20, 2010 By Kevin
Been {golfing} semi-persistently for over 10 years...however with hand-me-down clubs. The adaptation the X-20's made used to be 10 yards more in step with membership, higher flight trajectory and I shot 7 pictures lower (avg 95, now moderate 87-88) within three-four weeks of playing 1-2x according to week. Wish I had these sooner.
I really like my x-20s and their uniflex shafts., April 28, 2010 through Kevin D
I have performed with my new x20s for about 3 weeks and they're nice thus far. It took me no time to get used to them after changing my 10 to fifteen 12 months vintage TaylorMade LCGs. I am getting about the similar distance and my ball flight is a bit higher on my long irons. That is one thing I always sought after and I believe it's due to uniflex shaft. Once I learn reviews, some opinions mentioned that uniflex gives you a higher ball flight. I did not in reality believe that, but it does. My antique irons contained regular shafts. The shaft was one among my issues ahead of I purchased those irons. I requested common shafts which the corporate did not ship on account of the nice price. The common shafts had been approximately $55 more than the uniflex. I'm enjoying my uniflex shafts and my new x20s.
