Memory of Callaway Diablo Edge Irons Demo Test
It is always full of interest and fun to demo test a new golf irons set when they come out. Testing Callaway Diablo Edge Irons was one of my best memories in the past. That's because this Diablo Edge Iron Set have enough features to make it good in performance. Callaway Golf has its own top flit production lines. These Diablo Edge Irons are good results of Callaway's innovation and power in golf clubs development.
To test the Diablo Edge Irons, I went to my favorite driving range to hit a bucket of balls. To evaluate whether a golf club is good or not, we generally consider the following several factors. They are distance, forgivingness, feel.
Let's begins with the distance of Callaway Diablo Edge Irons. Distance is quite important to a golfer. Callaway engineers works hard to improve the distance by focusing on the gravity center and sole plate. With lower and deeper center of gravity, diablo edge irons have more accessible sweet spot, which is in-line with where non-professional golfers most commonly hit. The Solid Impact Sole is designed to mitigate the effects of heavy and thin shots and improve the impact location on the face for greater distance.
At the first beginning when Callaway began to design the new Diablo Edge irons, they determined to produce more forgiving golf irons. They really achieved it. S2H2 Technology shortens the hosel and makes the club easier to hit. A new Solid Impact Sole design allows the Callaway Diablo Edge to slide through the turf more efficiently and reduce the impact of any thinned shots. The performance of the Callaway Diablo Edge Irons is excellent and you can really feel the extra power generated by the slightly stronger lofts. With the sweet spot lowered it takes little effort to get the ball and airborne and we're really impressed that all Callaway's research into amateur golfers makes such a big difference to the performance. We were similarly impressed by both the standard and tour versions of the Diablo Edge hybrid but we'd certainly recommend that better golfers persevere with the longer irons.
These Diablo Edge Irons really have a good feel. Even being considered as game improvement irons, any level of golfer could play them. We found that we were hitting them a little longer than other comparable irons and more accurately. What we really liked about the Callaway Diablo Edge irons is the way you can configure your irons. The 3 and 4 irons are a hybrid iron, and the 5-LW are normal irons. But, if you have a difficult time hitting your 5 and 6 irons, you can special order them as hybrid irons.
I was quite impressed by Callaway Diablo Edge Irons. The clubs have such a solid feel with the wide base each shot whether solid or not so solid feel great coming off the face. I really suggest those low-middle handicap golfers try this iron set.
