Callaway Big 10 Degree Driver
Shane Venus; Rate My Golf Swing (9 Iron & Driver)
Better Feel and Sound Come From Callaway Legacy driver
It has been a long time not to go out with my cousin to play golf. So I can't help waiting for one more day. And we took our respective golf clubs to the near course. Owing to lots of work to do, I don't have time to change my golf clubs, while my cousin again took a new driver.
He told me that just got his hands on the new Callaway Legacy driver. This is Japanonly and the 2nd generation version of the hyperbolic face technology. He has hit the EMB, the US Hyper X tour, and now the Legacy. The big improvement of the Legacy over past versions is the feel and sound. It's the rebirth of the 510 TP in the feel and sound dept. The specs are dead square face, 10.5 loft speed axis 55w S. They are very easy Discount Golf Equipment to turn over with 24 grams of weight toward the heel, but with a square face, the draw bias over hook traits aren't there as they would be for him with closed faces. The draw is the shot of choice as with 24 grams of weight by the heel, this club is not designed for a fade. The thing is the draw is his normal shot, and he doesn't have control problems at all with the Legacy. He just uses the weight as leverage and swing a nice normal pass and a beautiful long high slight draw is the shot.
While playing the game, I was listening to him to introduce his new driver. Until now,
he has hit the Legacy for 4 rounds. The draw bias isn't an issue at all. If there was a draw bias issue it would show up quick when I hit it. The square face setup helps a lot. Comparing it to the EMB is interesting as they are 2 different types of Discount Golf Clubs. From a distance standpoint it's a trade off. He can play a controlled draw on demand with the Legacy, The EMB is a straight ball driver. The Legacy has better feel and sound, classic 510 TP like. Both drivers handle the wind well, but the EMB has an edge. Both carry a ton, the EMB has better rollout after it hits the ground. Today in near 70 degree temps he played 2 balls off the tee, 1 with a real diamana blue 63 S in an L4V X, the other the Legacy Both drives off each club were near identical soft draws with flat high trajectories. Again the L4V just doesn't get me the distance. The EMB is almost an automatic fairway finder as the Legacy, but the distance mojo is there with the best setups he has used.
Is it so amazing? I feel a little doubtful. Therefore, I had a try. Suddenly, my doubt disappeared. Yes, it is fantastic. Next time, I think I have a new partner.

Frequently Asked Questions...
What driver loft should i get?
I am a 14 year old male and I drive the ball about 175 with my 9 degree callaway big bertha but have an awful slice that i cant get rid of. I am wanting to get a new driver and was looking at the Callaway Diablo Edge. I can't decide between 10 degree or 11 degree loft. what would you suggest? Thanks!
Answer:
I'm 16 and hit it 280 with a 9.5 degree. I'm a serious golfer and if you are too I would suggest getting a swing coach to get your swing consistent. Once your swing is good go get a driver fitting, they will tell you everything you need to know about your driver. Tell them you like callaway and they will test you for it, if they say it's not for you then just say "ok next driver." Go into the fitting with an open mind and they will give you what's best for your game. It helped me add 50 yards to my drive and it's really worth it! There's a ton of stuff you probably don't know about drivers and you will learn a lot by getting a fitting. Also it will be good if you want to play high school golf because you will have the right equipment. Don't just go buy some driver because you will be doing nothing for your game and you will be wasting money. Do this and you will be pounding your drives past everyone else!
